Refund & Returns Policy

 

Effective 21 October 2026

 

Swiss law does not give a right to return goods bought online. We offer one voluntarily, on the terms below. If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, your statutory right of withdrawal applies in any case.

 

1. Signed copies without a dedication — 14 days

You may return an undedicated signed copy within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. The book must be unread, undamaged and in its original condition. To return it:

 

  1. Email liam@devineconfidential.com with your order number within the 14 days.

  2. Send the book back, well packed, to the return address we give you in our reply.

  3. Return postage is at your expense, unless the book was faulty or wrong.

 

We refund the price of the book and the original standard shipping within 14 days of receiving the return, by the original payment method. If the book comes back damaged or marked, we may reduce the refund accordingly.

 

2. Copies with a personal dedication — not returnable

A dedicated copy is personalised to your instructions and cannot be resold, so it cannot be returned or refunded unless it is faulty or wrong. Please check the spelling of names carefully before ordering. If you notice a mistake in your dedication text, email us before dispatch and we will correct it free of charge.

 

3. Faulty, damaged or wrong items — always covered

If your book arrives damaged, misprinted or is not what you ordered (including a dedication that does not match your instructions), email us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We will send a replacement or refund you in full, including shipping, at your choice. You do not need to return a damaged copy unless we ask.

 

4. Cancellations

You may cancel an order free of charge until it is dispatched. Once a dedication has been written, the order can no longer be cancelled.

 

5. Customs and duties

Customs duties and import taxes paid in the destination country cannot be refunded by us; you may be able to reclaim them from your customs authority.
